First Writing Workshop

Howdy, cohort! Many of you already had quite polished readings ready to workshop, others are embarking on new readings to experiment a little with the direction they want the project to go, others may want to workshop their proposals in advance of their Reviews. Choose the first week if you've got something ready to go or you could have by the end of the weekend. Wait till the following week if you need some extra time. Everybody has to sign in for something and it's first come, first served (although I will adjust things later if all parties to an exchange agree to that). Specify your preferences and engage in your wrangling in the comments on the blog for the sign-up sheet post itself. In order to ensure everybody has the time to actually read your work and provide thoughtful feedback please get materials to everybody online by the Tuesday night before your Friday presentation. Everybody should be prepared to comment. In my experience, your writing tends to gain more from the giving of feedback than from the getting of it. Curious, lovely, and true.
