And Now We Turn To the Symposium

I've spoken with many of you already about strategizing for your symposium talks. For the next couple of weeks we'll be previewing initial forays into the translation from page to stage. Cull nine likely pages from your pile, practice it a couple of times to see how long it takes to read, and we'll discuss the results. Also, general tips for public speaking will be shared. People, no pressure on this, it should actually be fun -- at first! Those of you who are swamped with final draft edits should postpone to the second week, those whose process is comparatively smoother, jump right in the water's fine.
